Pre-assembled Switch Machine and Controller

Switch your turnout using the Micro Switch Machine, a small but powerful servo powered switch machine. To drive your servo you will need a servo controller. The Micro Singlet is the perfect partner with built-in DCC accesory decoder and a fascia controller with Red/Green LEDs to indicate how the turnout is thrown. You can also use an Octopus III, SwitchWright, a QuadLN_S (from N3IX engineering) or even an Arduino.

Skill level: Simple - similar to installing a stall motor switch machine. For DCC you should understand how to operate accessories with your DCC system.

Micro Servo Turnout Machine

Small but powerful with plenty of torque and throw for tunrouts from N to O scale.

Designed to mount under the turnout and roadbed up to 3 inches thick.

This mounting method provides an over the center spring action that keeps the points in place after the servo turns off. After years of trying various methods, this method really works well and avoids the servo buzzing that happens when they are fighting to keep the points in place.

Micro Switch Machine (without Snap Switch)
For use with Octo III, , Micro Singlet, Singlet II+, SwitchWright, Quad-PIC, Quad-LN or other RC servo compatible board

The Micro Switch Machine is based on the SG90 servo. This version does not have the snap switch mounted saving you money if you have another way to power the frog or you don't need powered frogs. The wire actuator is already mounted for you. The Micro Switch Machine is ready to go. Comes with a piece of double-sided foam tape for ease of mounting as well as 2 #4x1/2" screws for permanent mounting. Use with any of your servo decoders to power a turnout.

Micro Switch Machine w/ Snap Switch
For use with Octo III, , Micro Singlet, Singlet II+, SwitchWright, Quad-PIC, Quad-LN or other RC servo compatible board

The Micro Switch Machine is based on the SG90 servo with a 5 Amp rated snap switch mounted so that it is turned on and off at half throw - ideal for powering frogs. The wire actuator is already mounted for you. The Micro Switch Machine is ready to go. Comes with a piece of double-sided foam tape for ease of mounting as well as two #4x1/2" screws for permanent mounting. Use with any of your servo decoders/drivers to power a turnout and the contacts provide frog power. (See bracket specs below).

Micro Singlet Servo Decoder with Fascia Controller

For Driving One Switch Machine - Use w/ DC or DCC

Includes the micro singlet, with a Red/Green Bi-color Fascia Controller. Power is provided from the DCC bus or from 8-24V DC if you just want to use the fascia controller.

Each unit requires about 0.15 A when moving points and about .025 A when resting.

This is a DCC accessory decoder and uses the switch/accessory keys on your DCC controller, however the board can be powered with DC and the turnount thrown with the fascai controller. If you want to just use DCC to throw your switch and not bother with fascia control then buy MSS001 on this page.
